HomePod Repair

HomePod Power Supply Fix

Model: Apple HomePod (1st Gen)
Common Issue: Dead as a doornail, no power, no sound.

Reasons for This Issue:
1) Internal power supply unit (PSU) fail.
2) Blown capacitor or diode on power board.
3) Surge damage
4) Overheated due to dust or obstructed vents.

A dead HomePod typically means a dead PSU — a sealed, high-voltage component that Apple
will not service on a per-unit basis. Here at Mac Tech Service, we open it up, diagnose, and
repair the internal PSU exactly. From bad MOSFETs to failing rectifiers, we power them up
where others recommend replacement.
