iMac Graphics Failure

iMac, Model: A1312 , Release year: 2011

Common issue: Graphics failure causes system crashes or distorted video.

Reasons for this issue:

  1. Solder joint crack in GPU from thermal cycling.
  2. VRAM chips are overheated.
  3. Fluctuation in power supply voltage.
  4. Dust clogs the heatsink and fan assembly.
  5. Age-related board-level component problem.

We perform thermal imaging to locate hotspots. We do precision GPU reballing and solder repair. We can also replace the VRAM chip when needed. Cleaning of the heatsink will ensure proper airflow. After the repair, we perform a post-repair stress test for stability. Bring your iMac to us and keep your older iMac running like brand new.
